Bravo, a clear and interesting piece, and I very much agree that talking about information is crucial when discussing these issues.

One thing I'd like to point out is that the concept of information can be a bit iffy, since it seems to be hard to separate from mind (and nobody has come up with a naturalistic definition). Causality itself seems to be a human construct as well, although not an a priori one as Kant thought. So as always, many questions remain.

I like to think of the universal function linking input to output as a sort of abstraction, or meta principle, but whose substance still needs to be filled in -- which points in the direction of a mind rather than *just* an equation.

It is a good starting point. You point to connection of the Mind and Matter. I will tell you your blind spots. I'll write full ideas as a replies to this comment, but this is the overview:

1. Defining Mind

2. Defining Matter

3. Why Mind and Matter have the same structure

4. Mind (Consciousness) is primary

5. Matter is created from the Mind (Consciousness)

This is just a starting point, if you are interested we can talk much deeper.
